On behalf of everyone at A Gift For Teaching (AGFT), and most importantly the students and teachers that we serve, THANK YOU! There are so many deserving non-profit organizations in our community. We are humbled and thankful that you make AGFT a priority when choosing which organizations to support.
During our year-end campaign, we shared stories from teachers of the realities they face in their classrooms. We challenged you to match $30,000 in gifts that we had received in early December. We asked that if you couldn’t give financially, that you assist us by telling your friends and family of our efforts.
You listened, but more importantly you acted. You went above and beyond. You spread the word, and we heard from new donors – both corporate and individual. Your gifts contributed another $33,000, and resulted in AGFT’s most successful year-end campaign to-date (just over $63,000).
Your generosity sent 2011 out on a great note and leaves all of us feeling hopeful for 2012. Thank you for the outpouring of warmth and love you show local kids and teachers through your gifts.
